Japanese China Incident Medal WW2 with paper bag. The medal was awarded to all Japanese service members who were active in China between 1937 and 1945. The name comes from the incident which occured in July 1937 at the Marco Polo brigde near Bejing where a skirmish took place between Japanese and Chinese troops which eventually led to the Second Sino-Japanese War (1937–1945).
