USAAF shoe insert flying electric Q1 WW2
US Army Air Forces shoe-insert, flying, electric, Type Q1. Size L (for shoe sizes 9 to 10) made by Lion Products Inc. Absolutely mint condition, new old stock. Part of the electrically heated flying suits used in unheated airplanes these were attached to the electrically heated trousers and worn over the leather shoes but under the shearling boots.
